What early access means
MIDIpad is at version 0.202609.79 - sold before 1.0, while releases are still reshaping it. The changelog records what each one changed.
- What state is it in?
- It's early days, but the instrument already has a lot to offer: Chords and Drums, the full MIDI and MPE output, tempo- and meter-awareness. I'm adding new features and refining the experience constantly.
- What changes before 1.0?
- I've got a ton of features in the pipeline; more instruments, more themes, deeper customisation, and more ways to interact with the app. New things will be highlighted in the changelog and manual as I add them.
- What does a licence cover?
- Every release through 1.0 and beyond. Pay once and stay current, I'm not gonna start charging you for updates.
Releases are steered by what players report, so please get in touch with suggestions, bug reports, or just to say hi. There's also a feedback form in the app itself.
How licensing works
- Pay once. Your licence key arrives by email, your receipt separately.
- Download MIDIpad and enter your licence key in the app.
- Lost the email? Get in touch and we will resend your key.
Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Applicable VAT or sales tax is handled at checkout. Already bought? Your licence key came by email; receipts and invoices are in the customer portal.
